Rena Buckley is recognised for her commitment to both sport and health. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from UCD in 2009 and is one of the most decorated players in GAA history, having won a total of 17 All-Ireland senior medals: nine in football and five in camogie. She was The Corkman/ Springfort Hall Sports Person of the Year 2006. Since 2013, Buckley has been an active chartered physiotherapist as a partner in the Physiotherapy Centre and Muskerry Physiotherapy Clinic. She continues to excel as a member of the Inniscarra camogie team and the Donoughmore ladies' football team.
