CLODAGH BARRY

UCD PHYSIOTHERAPY

Clodagh Barry is the recipient of the Physiotherapy award in recognition of her continuous dedication to working with paediatric Spina Bifida in Ireland, the Lebanon and Pakistan.

Clodagh spent most of her career in Central Remedial Clinic (CRC). In 1983 she travelled to Lebanon and worked in a centre for children with disability and has maintained strong links with this group ever since. More recently she became involved in developing services in Pakistan and continues to go there on a regular basis. Throughout her career in the CRC Clodagh has demonstrated excellent commitment to the clinical education of UCD physiotherapy students. Her wealth of knowledge and remarkable treatment and handling skills were an inspiration.

Her commitment dedication and hard work have ensured that Clodagh will always be a role model in the paediatric physiotherapy world.
