UCD Alumni Awards 2025 Nominations

The UCD Alumni Awards proudly celebrate and honour the outstanding achievements of our global alumni who have made an exceptional contribution to society in their chosen field.

UCD Alumni Awards are presented in the following categories: Arts and Humanities; Business; Engineering and Architecture; Health and Agriculture Sciences; Law;  Research, Innovation and Impact; Science; Social Sciences; and Sport.

We invite the UCD community to nominate worthy UCD alumni who have made a positive impact on the world.

    Nominations Protocol

    What are the criteria for nomination?

    Nominators are asked to nominate outstanding UCD alumni who have made a substantial and outstanding contribution as a global leader in their field; who have explored life’s possibilities, met global challenges, are embracing change and whose successes have had a positive impact on the world.

    They must actively demonstrate global impact and one or more of UCD’s values: integrity, excellence, collegiality, creativity, diversity or engagement.

    UCD Alumni are defined as anyone who has attended the University in an undergraduate or graduate capacity.

     

    Exclusions for nomination of UCD Alumni Awards:

    UCD employees (except for adjunct and visiting professors), previous UCD Foundation Day Medallists and previous UCD Alumni Award winners are not eligible for nomination. 

    Awards may not be awarded posthumously.
