In the year of their 20th anniversary, the Choral Scholars of University College Dublin performed in front of an audience of more than 1,000 alumni, students, friends and supporters over three sell-out festive December evenings in Newman University Church. Artistic Director, Dr Desmond Earley, led the performance of a Choral Celebration of Christmas. The programme featured many festive favourites along with works from their newest album, Perpetual Twilight (Signum), and also three world- premiere performances of pieces by Ivo Antognini (CH), Eoghan Desmond (IRL) and Timothy Stephens (USA). The Scholars were joined by acclaimed artists Elizabeth Cooney on violin and Tristan Russcher on piano.
