In March 2019, UCD Symphony Orchestra travelled to the beautiful French city of Strasbourg to take part in a joint concert with the University Orchestra of Strasbourg at the Church of St Pierre-le-Jeune before an audience of over 600.
In April 2019, the Orchestra was back in the National Concert Hall in Dublin for a sold- out Russian programme, featuring the UCD Philharmonic Choir and Ad Astra Performing Arts Scholar Dylan Browne, who gave a thrilling performance of Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No2.
The next performance is with the world-renowned tribute band the Bootleg Beatles on 20 October at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, to celebrate 50 years since the release of “Abbey Road”.
