Memories of UCD: Studying 16 hours a day: coffee for sixpence and milk for four pence! Daily walks to Earlsfort Terrace for Maths and Maths Physics and a good chance of meeting a woman from Arts or Social Science! Incredible camaraderie and friends for life.
lives in Ireland and is a retired public servant. Alumni events attended this year: I always attend class reunions and the UCD Festival. Memories of UCD: Great memories playing rugby. On the third Monday in September 1964, I repeated the Physics Practical in the new lab in Belfield. It was the first day that Belfield opened for student activities and there was major publicity in that evening’s papers. I am very proud that I was one of the first on campus. When I see Belfield now, the developments are massive.

lives in Ireland and is a retired judge. Memories of UCD: When Sir Anthony O’Reilly came to chair our Law Society Debate and I was appointed to make the thank you speech. He was a fantastic speaker – and a great winger. Love on campus: I met Ann, my wife of 56 years, at UCD.
