(BSc 1973, PhD 1977) lives in England and works as an arboricultural consultant for Dealga’s Tree Consultancy. This year he was involved with the restoration of the Allerton Oak, a 1,200-year-old ancient tree in Calderstones Park in Liverpool. Memories of UCD: Meeting my wife Marguerite in 1975. She joined the zoology department in January and we were married in August. We were together for 43 years until she sadly passed away in 2018.
(BComm 1971) lives in Ireland and is the chief executive of Perfect Partners in Blackrock, where he is celebrating his twelfth year as a matchmaker.
(BA 1977, MA 1979) lives in the US and is a professor in the Department of Human Development, and a director in the Laboratory for Thinking, Reasoning and Educational Neuroscience at the University of Maryland, College Park. Memories of UCD: Many great memories. John Little and I making and selling popcorn outside Theatre L: we sold out instantly. And of course, people throwing cream pies during Rag Week was entertaining to watch.
(MA Anglo-Irish Studies 1971) lives in the US and works as a certified hypnotist in the Possibilities Hypnosis Center. This year he published a book, The Hypnotic Coach: Combining Hypnosis and Personal Coaching to Create a Life You Love.
Memories of UCD: Probably the best year of my life. Learning. Friends. And met (and married) Maria, my wife of 48 years.
