The UCD Classical Society held their annual lecture and reception with an audience of over 150 alumni, students and friends in April 2019 in the FitzGerald Chamber in the UCD Student Centre. The audience gathered to enjoy a wonderful lecture entitled “Arcana imperii: soft power and the secrets of the Augustan Revolution” given by Professor Andrew Wallace-Hadrill OBE, FBA, FSA Professor of Roman Studies and Director of Research in the Faculty of Classics at the University of Cambridge.
