The UCD School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics held its first alumni reception in May 2019. Held at the newly renovated School in the Newman Building at UCD, it brought together over 50 alumni and staff – past and present. Professor Bettina Migge, Head of School, welcomed emeritus staff speakers Vera Cápková and Professor Jean Michel-Picard, who were joined by alumni speakers. Afterwards guests sampled international food and wines.
