It was wonderful to welcome more than 700 alumni, students and industry connections to O’Reilly Hall in February 2020 to celebrate the fifth UCD Women in Leadership conference. A stellar line-up of speakers discussed issues facing all women at every stage of their career. Panel topics included Resilience, Women in Tech and Leading the Cultural Change. Lunchtime workshops on Networking, Getting on Boards and Returning to Work took place for the first time in the University Club.
Caroline Casey, founder of the Valuable 500, and Caroline Keeling, MD of Keelings, both delivered keynote speeches and Professor Orla Feely, UCD Vice-President for Research, Innovation and Impact, opened the Conference. The day closed with an address from UCD graduate Eiméar O’Flynn, founder of the Conference.
