In November 2019, the UCD Engineering Graduates Association (EGA) assembled a diverse panel of experts from Arup, PwC, McCann Fitzgerald and AltViz to explore the topic of artificial intelligence. The event took place in the UCD Engineering & Materials Science Centre. Panellists delivered overviews of AI and related emerging technologies and discussed some of the potential areas of conflict between the current legal regime and AI. There were also presentations on the use of machine learning and AI in design and engineering of the built environment.
