The 2019 World University Games took place in the Italian city of Naples from 2 – 14 July. The Games were the 30th Summer Universiade and celebrated 60 years since the first Games were held in Turin, Italy in 1959. The programme included 18 sports, 170 countries and approximately 8,000 participants. This year’s UCD representatives included: Alanna Lally 07 06 (Athletics), Sarah Lavin (Athletics), Chloe Mustaki (Women’s Football) and Gavin Sheridan (Men’s Football).
