Hosted via Zoom on Thursday evenings, UCD “In Conversation” is a virtual interview series featuring world-class academic and alumni leaders focusing on critical global challenges and insights for uncertain times. Viewers are invited to tune in from home and submit questions for a Q&A session at the end of each interview. A range of multi-disciplinary speakers have been featured including Dr Shane Bergin, physicist and Assistant Professor in Science Education, UCD School of Education who moderated a conversation on “The Philosophy of Wellbeing”, UCD alumna Caroline Casey, award-winning social entrepreneur and founder of The Valuable 500, who spoke on how “It’s Normal to be Different”, and Dr Ebun Joseph, coordinator for UCD’s Black Studies module, who contributed to a segment entitled “So What Next: Becoming Anti-Racist”.
