UCD was delighted to welcome hundreds of BComm alumni to the newly opened Moore Centre for Business for their milestone reunion celebrations in August and September 2019. Alumni celebrating their milestone years included the classes of 1979, 1984, 1994, 1974 and 1989. The reunions provided the perfect opportunity to catch up with former classmates and reconnect with UCD.
Attendees enjoyed nostalgic speeches by Class Champions. A whiskey tasting was conducted for the class of 1994 in September 2019, facilitated by BComm alumnus Gerry Ginty of Powerscourt Distillery. Also in September, the class of 1984 gathered for a panel discussion, with class members including CEO of Glanbia, Siobhán Talbot, Green Party leader Eamon Ryan, TD and founder and CEO of Fire, Colm Lyon.
