The 2018/19 BComm reunions once again brought hundreds of alumni back on campus to reconnect and reminisce with former classmates. The BComm Class of 1969’s 50-year reunion was a particularly special occasion; the first reunion to be held in the new UCD University Club. On the night, the Ulysses Medal was presented to Dr Michael Somers, former CEO of NTMA.
The joint reunion of the classes of 2009, 2014 and 2018 was also held in the University Club and featured a panel discussion chaired by Gavin Duffy, with guest speakers from the Irish whiskey and gin industries. These included Brian Fagan of Glendalough Distillery, June O’Connell of Skellig Six18, Gerry Ginty of Powerscourt Distillery and Jack Teeling of Teeling Whiskey.
