Actor, writer and director Gabriel Byrne has been named the recipient of the 2023 TK Whitaker Award at the Business & Finance Awards for his outstanding contribution and impact across the arts. The award was first established in 2016 and goes to those who have demonstrated a significant contribution to public service. Past recipients include former Taoiseach Enda Kenny, former President of Ireland Mary McAleese and President Michael D. Higgins.
