At the recent Rowing Irish Championships, UCD Men’s Boat Club took the big prize in Cork. The Men’s Senior 8s Champions consisted of Cameron Murphy, Shane O’Connell, Thomas Earley, David Somers, Andrew Goff, Max Murphy (Captain), Shane Mulvaney, David O’Malley (Stroke) and Orlagh Reid (Cox). It was the first Senior 8s win for experienced coach Martin Feeley. Furthermore, the Men’s Senior 4 successfully defended their title at the Championship. The crew were David O’Malley, Shane Mulvaney, Andrew Goff and Shane O’Connell.
