UCD Swimming broke a nine-yearold record in Irish Club Swimming in June, in the 4x50m Mixed Medley. The team that set the new record time of 1:50.43 in Basel were Jena Macdougald (Backstroke), John Mulhall (Butterfly), David O’Loughlin (Breaststroke) and Naomi Trait (Freestyle).
At Intervarsities in March, UCD Swimming were named Overall Varsities Champions, Overall Women’s Champions and Overall Men’s Champions, with the club winning a phenomenal 26 individual medals and seven relay medals.
