The Women’s First XV enjoyed a historic season, winning all four competitions on offer for the first time in the club’s history. The club claimed the Student Sport Ireland (SSI) Division 1 League, the SSI Tier 1 Cup, the Kay Bowen Cup, and retained the Colours Cup.
The Men’s First XV retained their Energia All-Ireland League Division 1A status, winning their play-off final against Trinity on a scoreline of 28-24. The Men’s U20A team won the JP Fanagan Premier 1 title for the first time since 2012, following a 23-17 victory over MU Barnhall. The team also reached the finals of both the Fraser McMullen Cup and the McCorry Cup.
UCD Rugby raised an incredible €70,177.79 for the Irish Cancer Society during their 2026 Daffodil Day campaign in March. The amount raised adds to the remarkable total the club has generated for the charity in recent years, which now exceeds €250,000. Four individuals were recognised by the Irish Cancer Society with Community Champion pins for their outstanding support of the campaign this year: Rob Mullee (UCD Student Centre Manager), Des Moran (Café Brava Hospitality Catering), Rory MacMahon (UCD RFC Club Member), and Ciara O’Connor (UCD RFC Club Manager).
