The 17th Annual New York Benefit Dinner took place at the Metropolitan Club, New York City, in October 2019. The honourees were Anne Anderson, former Ambassador of Ireland to the US, John L Gardiner, Partner at Skadden law firm, and Orla Mitchell of Mars Wrigley Confectionery. This year’s Benefit was the largest and most successful in the event’s 17-year history with almost 300 guests in attendance. Profits raised from the event are used to fund scholarships for North American students, attracting the next generation of business leaders to study at UCD.
