The annual Arthur Cox UCD Women in Leadership conference became a two-day online interactive event attracting a large global audience of over 1,000 alumni, students, staff and corporate attendees – the largest ever group of participants in its six-year history. Topics ranged from Moving from Mentee to Mentor, The Power of Change, to Mental Health: Powering Through a Pandemic, and Diversity and Inclusion: From Policy to Action.

The second day of the event offered Mentoring Circles for the first time with participants engaging in valuable face-time with small groups and inspiring leaders such as disability activist and education specialist Eileen Daly, lecturer and race relations consultant, Dr Ebun Joseph, space activities explorer, Dr Niamh Shaw, Chief People Officer, Arthur Cox, Triona Ferriter, Chairperson National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) & Former Director, CRH Maeve Carton and Garda Superintendent and founder of Gforce LGBT Network, Paul Franey. Moving this long-standing event online provided much opportunity for networking and enabled greater engagement with alumni across Ireland and around the world. The Q&A elements with live speakers proved popular with alumni, staff and students alike.
