UCD Ad Astra Elite Sport Scholar and Howth Yacht Club sailor Eve McMahon is sailing’s World Number One, becoming the first Irish sailor to ever achieve the top spot in the world rankings. The 21-year-old BComm student recently took the gold medal in the ILCA 6 class at the LA Grand Slam and a bronze medal at the ILCA World Championships.
