Under the Artistic Director, Dr Desmond Earley, the Choral Scholars of University College Dublin performed a programme of festive choral music titled \u201cBe All Merry\u201d over three nights at Newman University Church.<\/p>\n

The programme featured new Christmas music composed for the group by Ivo Antognini and\u00a0 Eoghan\u00a0 Desmond, as well as choral pieces by Howells, Buchenberg and Culloten. Eriks Esenvald\u2019s setting of the James Joyce text \u201cMy Love is in a Light Attire\u201d, written for the choir\u2019s 20th-anniversary celebrations, was also performed. The singers were joined by<\/p>\n

acclaimed artists Lynda O\u2019Connor on violin, Ailbhe McDonagh on cello and Tristan Russcher on piano.<\/p>\n

Watch out for the new album \u201cBe All Merry\u201d released this October.<\/p>\n
