UCD Alumnus publishes first piece of commercial fiction

A new thriller by UCD graduate Brian Charleton has been published by A-argus books, an American publisher.  It is a fast-paced witty plot with scintillating dialogue and an uplifting subplot and is available from Amazon.com as a paperback and as an e-book.

Brian Charleton graduated with an honors degree in Philosophical Studies from UCD in 1981, coming first in his class.  He was worked mainly as a gardener since then doing maintenance and landscaping. More recently (2012) he received an honors Bachelor of Divinity degree from the University of London.  He currently reads in the James Joyce library researching a thesis topic on ‘Scientific Method as a form of Modal Logic’.  He has had a number of short pieces published in magazines and in book form and broadcast on radio over the years.  Private Thrills is his first venture into commercial fiction.
