Closing date for receipt of nominations for the UCD Alumni Awards 2024 is Wednesday 6 March 2024.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1709907553215{padding-bottom: 20px !important;}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">Nomination now closed, thank you everyone!<\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Nominations Protocol<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h4><strong>What are the criteria for nomination?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Nominators are asked to nominate outstanding UCD alumni who have made a substantial and outstanding contribution as a global leader in their field; who have explored life\u2019s possibilities, met global challenges<strong><em>, <\/em><\/strong>are embracing change\u00a0and whose successes have had a positive impact on the world.<\/p>\n<p>They must actively demonstrate global impact and one or more of UCD\u2019s values: integrity, excellence, collegiality, creativity, diversity or engagement.<\/p>\n<p>UCD Alumni are defined as anyone who has attended the University in an undergraduate or graduate capacity.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><b>Exclusions for nomination of UCD Alumni Awards:<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UCD employees (except for adjunct and visiting professors), previous UCD Foundation Day Medallists and previous UCD Alumni Award winners are not eligible for nomination.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Awards may not be awarded posthumously.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] The UCD Alumni Awards proudly celebrate and honour the outstanding achievements of our global alumni who have made an exceptional contribution to society in their chosen field.
